Mahi Cheshire was born in Sri Lanka and grew up in London. She is a GP with a special interest in mental health. She loves travelling, kundalini yoga and boxing, all of which provide inspiration for her writing. She lives in London with her husband and daughter. Her debut psychological thriller Deadly Cure was published by Harvill Secker in 2022. Her romcom Whisked Away at Christmas was published by Audible Originals in 2022 and her second thriller The Lying Guest was published by Harvill Secker in 2025.
