Vladimir Sorokin

Vladimir Georgiyevich Sorokin (born 7 August 1955) is a contemporary postmodern Russian writer of novels, short stories, and plays. Notable works include Blue Lard, Day of the Oprichnik, Sugar Kremlin, and the Ice trilogy. His new novel, Fairy Tale, is forthcoming in English from PenguinRandomHouse. He currently lives in Berlin.
