Paula wrote her first story, aged seven, on her mum’s old typewriter – and has been writing ever since!
She has a background in newspaper journalism and gained an MA distinction in Writing for Children in 2021. Since then, Paula’s fiction and poetry for children has featured in various publications in the UK and overseas. She is a SCBWI Undiscovered Voices winner and longlisted as one of The London Library’s Emerging Writers of 2024/25.
Paula lives in Hampshire with her husband, their two daughters and cheeky cat, Pebble.
