Lishani Ramanayake

Lishani Ramanayake is a Sri Lankan writer. She was a recipient of the 2025 London Writers Awards and the 2024 Moniack Mhor Emerging Writer Award. She has also been a finalist for the Porter House Review Editors Prize, the Barthelme Prize for Short Prose and shortlisted for the ALCS Tom-Gallon Trust Award.

Her short stories and essays have been published in Wasafiri, Gulf Coast, The Rumpus, CULTURED, and Porter House Review, and her writing has been platformed at the Singapore Writing Festival, the George Town Literary Festival in Malaysia, and Queen Mary University of London.

Lishani grew up in Colombo, lived in Singapore, and now calls London home.
