Anne Piper (Estate)

Anne Horatia Piper was born in Llandaff, South Wales in 1920. She was sent to Downe House Boarding School in 1932 before reading English Literature at Newnham College, Cambridge in 1939. Anne visited and worked in Wardha, India and Burma during the war effort before returning home and, shortly after, getting married. Anne and her husband David went on to welcome four children (and then eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren) in their farmhouse in Oxford. Anne resided in the Oxford house until passing away in May, 2017.

Anne is the author of nine novels that have recently been republished by Endeavour Press.
