Usborne has snapped up UK & Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) to two titles in a killer teen series by youth marketer Kim Curran from agent, James Wills.

The series follows the world’s bestselling boy band, Slay, which, as well as playing killer music, also slays killer demons. The first book in the series tells the story of Milly, the lonely daughter of a world famous singer, that discovers her mum has been taken over by something very evil. But the very last people she expects to rescue her are the hottest boy band on the planet.

Anne Finnis, Usborne’s fiction deputy director, said: “This is such a fabulous concept, with spot-on humour, surprises galore, thrills to the max and some kickass characters sure to become superstars in their own right.”

The two books are both scheduled for publication in 2018.
