Monday 29th June 2020
Hodder & Stoughton has signed a deal for three more books from Sophie Claire.
Women’s fiction publisher Kimberley Atkins acquired world rights from Megan Carroll. The first title in the new deal will be published in 2021, with two more books scheduled for 2022.
Hodder recently published Claire’s THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY (2019) and A FORGET-ME-NOT SUMMER (June, 2020). A third seasonal novel, A WINTER’S DREAM, will be published in October 2020.
Atkins said: “I couldn’t be happier to have signed another three books from Sophie who is a brilliant writer. Her novels are always gorgeous, evocative love stories and right now I can think of nothing better than finding some much-needed escapism in the pages of a book! It’s a real treat to publish Sophie on the Hodder list, and I’m very excited to have more novels coming over the next couple of years.”
Claire commented: “Working with Kimberley Atkins and her team at Hodder has been a fabulous experience. Kimberley’s enthusiasm and energy are inspirational and I’m so excited that we have another three books in the pipeline for readers to enjoy.”
