Will Richard

Will Richard is a writer and zoologist. He began in the farmyard at five, and thirteen years later studied zoology at the University of Oxford before becoming a zookeeper at London Zoo. He has since worked in natural history museums, taught university students and was elected a Fellow of the Linnean Society in 2016.

Will now works in international conservation, where he writes a lot about why there are fewer animals than there used to be, why it matters, and what we can all do to change that.
